Join my Snail Mail Art Club to help bring back the joy and whimsy to your mail.

I am a lifelong artist deeply interested in the role of our subconscious. I use Internal Family Systems psychology and Jungian dreamwork to connect to the collective unconscious and bring forth a tangible experience of what can only be expressed through art.

Well this first trial run of snail mail art club has been a real hoot! I learned a lot and made a bunch of fun mail art, learned that USPS standard letters can weigh up to 3.5 ounces (which is actually pretty heavy for paper), so I was able to fit everything after all!

Am I trying to fit too much into this month’s mail art club envelope? 🐌💌  This is the beta run of my very first snail mail art club delivery, and apparently my love language is adding one more thing! 
Each envelope includes a hand-painted envelope, a printed welcome letter with original art, an original googly-eye confetti bookmark, a small mixed-media acrylic painting, and a beta-testing survey with a stamped return envelope, so you can be part of the snail mail exchange too. 
I love the idea of art showing up unexpectedly in your mailbox - not as a bill or advertisement, but as something made by a real artist, by hand, in a real studio. A little package of color, texture, creativity, and connection. I can’t wait to send these out into the world. 
Now let’s see if I can actually get it all to fit in the envelope...

Joyful googly-eyed bookmark art coming soon to a mailbox near you 👀💌🐌

I’ve been making these whimsical little bookmarks for the very first launch of my snail mail art club, and they make me so happy. Tiny collage worlds filled with hand drawn marks, paper confetti, layered textures, and of course, googly eyes.

There’s something really special to me about creating handmade art that arrives unexpectedly in someone’s mailbox. A little burst of color, humor, texture, and care in the middle of everyday life.

The first beta member edition will officially be mailed on or before Monday, June 1st.

These are almost finished now, and I can’t wait to send them out into the world.

Working on my piece for the Reuseful Exhibition held by @sawtoothschool and @theartshac

One of my favorite things about this show is the focus on sustainability, recycling, and giving materials a second life through art. Last year’s exhibition was such a fun and inspiring reminder that “trash” can become texture, color, story, and beauty.

I’m going to stop by Art SHAC today for another materials hunt, and this piece should be finished later this week.

If you’re interested, there’s still time to participate! The deadline is May 30, so go shop for reclaimed materials at Art SHAC and make something 💙

You can also just shop there in general for materials, like doodads, googly eyes, frames, pom poms, bottle caps, corks, lightly used paints and other art supplies. I love volunteering there and getting to see all the fun stuff they have stocked. Check them out if you’re in the area and haven’t already!
